接上集,Rachel脚扭伤了,Monica陪她一起去医院,这里有个词,很简单,vacant只是我以前不知道空的位子,可以说vacant seat.
Pheebe生日,大家要给她一个意外,却没发觉在门外的是Ross,这里有一句,but everyone is too keyed up to notice that it’s him. Keyed up是非常兴奋紧张的意思. The party falls flat.整个Party上的人都安静下来,沉默了. Tiny laugh是很小心很拘谨的笑. Tableau,很惊讶看到这个上周才学的法语词.法语是画,picture的意思.英语是场面,特别是戏剧化的场面的意思.差不多 Let out删掉,漏掉,忽略 Stagger蹒跚的走. Squirm扭动,蠕动, She squirms in her chair Glower怒视. Agog渴望的兴奋的. He stood there with eyes agog. Animosity仇恨,敌意,怨恨. Clamber爬上,攀登. Marcel clambers the furniture all the time. Dismissive,表示轻视的,表示缺乏兴趣的,表示拒绝或者放弃的.Ursula is waving dismissively at the concept of working. Brighten up 脸色一下子亮起来,一下子高兴或者兴奋起来. Harden变得僵硬,无力. Her smile hardens at this news. Officious好管闲事的,过分友好的,非正式的. Scamper奔跑,蹦跳,跑来跑去, Tile瓦片.这里指的是游戏scrabble里的一个个的小字母片.(GOD,这是我最喜欢的游戏!) 好不容易把这一集赶完了。Hoho~~~~~~~
